ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER ndash SITE REMEDIATION PROJECTS Warrington, Pennsylvania Office Full-time Employment Opportunity Thriving full service Environmental Consulting firm actively seeks six to 10yr experienced Environmental Engineer to join our Warrington, Pennsylvania office. The successful applicant will have substantial recent experience managing and performing environmental site remediation projects in New Jersey. A strong technical experience, in-depth knowledge of NJDEP regulations governing site remediation projects, and the expertise to interpret and apply the regulations, is essential. Prior remediation experience on fast-paced, multi-disciplinary refinery andor petroleum projects is a definite plus. As a part of the team, the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in project management, guiding and reviewing the work of staff, report and work plan preparation, and interacting with clients and senior management. Qualifications Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering, Master degree preferred Ideally will possess six to 10 yrs of environmental consulting industry experience preferable within the state of New Jersey. Environmental remediation experience in engineering feasibility studies, remedial system design and construction oversight for refinery and petroleum projects. Additional desired experience with environmental investigations, site characterization, and hydrogeology Professional Engineer, PE licensure or expertise to obtain within 1yr, New Jersey licensure preferred In-depth knowledge and understanding of NJDEP regulations Expertise to assist with the management of projects and communicate effectively with staff, contractors, clients and managers Willingness and expertise to identify new client opportunities is strongly desired Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, judgment and problem-solving capabilities Outstanding verbal and written correspondence skills, as well as organization and multi-tasking skills Current knowledge of Word, Ms excel, and related environmental software AutoCAD andor GIS a plus Possess a valid driverrsquos license and reliable transportation for remote job site locations 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification Position mandates work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
